Environmental DNA (eDNA)

These guidelines on ‘Environmental DNA applications in biomonitoring and bioassessment of aquatic ecosystems’ explain the principles of the eDNA technology and presents its advantages and limitations. They also shows possible applications of eDNA tools in monitoring and assessment of aquatic ecosystems. The guidelines were published in 2020.
