MSP Module Physical appearance

This enforcement aid describes a method developed within the framework of the Modular Stepwise Procedure (MSP) for the assessment the following parameters: sludge, turbidity, discoloration, scum, odour, iron sulphide, colmation (increased concentration of suspended particles in the pore volumes of the stream bed), solid wastes, heterotrophic organisms and vegetation The method was published in 2007.

The Physical appearance module is also used for analyses in theModule Water Quality Analysis (Module G).
